Gluten Free is a phrase that we hear on an almost daily basis…

It simply means a product that is free of gluten. Gluten is a protein that’s most commonly found in barley, rye and wheat and when people are allergic to gluten, have a gluten intolerance or have Celiac disease, they need to avoid foods that contain gluten. Celiac disease is a serious autoimmune disease that occurs in genetically predisposed people where the ingestion of gluten leads to damage in the small intestine. Foods that typically have gluten in them include breads, pastas, crackers, and even some seasonings. 

At Miss P’s we have a dedicated Gluten Free kitchen, so you can be assured that none of our products have been contaminated with even a trace of gluten! On top of that, at Miss P’s we work on our recipes and adjust them until we’re certain they taste just like ‘the real thing’. Gluten Free doesn’t have to mean flavour free!
